ABOUT THE SERVICE

About the service

Do you only sell advertising to businesses inside Petawawa itself?

No — our coverage runs across Petawawa, Pembroke, Renfrew County, Deep River and the Algonquin edge, so advertisers from anywhere in that area are welcome to book any of the three placements on our rate card.

What exactly does the Valley Community Board include?

A short text listing — your business name, a message and an optional link — shown on all of our local news pages for a two-week run, with one included revision and a view count supplied at the end of the run.

Can I choose which podcast episodes my sponsorship appears in?

The Seasonal Podcast Series Sponsorship covers all four episodes of the current season, with opening credits and one host read per episode, rather than a single-episode placement.

What does the Valley Lattice Partnership actually cover?

Six weeks combining site placements, four newsletter credits, six podcast mentions and one partner-labelled article, planned together as one coordinated presence rather than booked separately.

Is a photo or logo required for every placement?

Not for the community board, which is a text listing. A logo or wordmark is useful for the Valley Lattice Partnership's article and site placements, but we can also work from your existing website material.

PROCESS

Process & scheduling

How do I start a booking?

Send a message through the contact form on our home page or call the booking desk directly. Tell us which placement fits and your preferred run dates, and our advertising coordinator takes it from there.

What happens after I send my first message?

Our advertising coordinator confirms availability against the editorial calendar and sends a short booking summary and invoice for the placement you chose, usually within one business day.

How far in advance should I book?

For the community board, a few business days is usually enough. Podcast sponsorships and the Lattice Partnership need more lead time, since episodes and multi-channel content are planned ahead of the run.

Do I need to supply my own creative material?

Not necessarily. You can supply your own text, logo or draft host-read script, or our team can help draft one for your approval before anything runs.

Can I request a specific two-week window for the community board?

Yes, within the limits of our current editorial calendar. Tell us your preferred dates when you send your first message and we confirm what's available.

PRICING

Pricing & payment

Is the rate card the full price, or is there a separate quote step?

The three published prices are the complete cost for each placement — there is no additional quote step. What you book is what you pay.

What if I need to cancel a booking?

Our cancellation policy sets out the cancellation windows and rescheduling options for each placement type, with the full long-form version on our cancellation & refund policy page.

What if I'm not satisfied with how a placement ran?

Our Payment & refund policy explains how to raise the issue, what we check, and what happens next.

How do I pay for a booking?

Payment is arranged once your booking summary is confirmed. Our advertising coordinator will walk you through the available payment methods when you book.
